Webinar Original Event Date – Thursday, January 17, 2 p.m. ET – Event is focused on Technology Trends

Digital Signage Expo (DSE) announced the third installment in its free 2019 webinar series, which targets specific end user verticals, is to be presented Thursday, January 17 at 2 p.m. ET.

Moderated by Airport Business Magazine Executive Editor, Joe Petrie, the 30-minute session will benefit airport operators, technologists and communications professionals responsible for their facilities’ digital signage communications network.

Featured discussion leaders include:

  • David Saleme, Senior Manager, Concessions & Revenue Development for John Glenn Columbus International Airport
  • Michael Oram, Concessions Manager at McCarran International Airport

The 30-minute webinar will discuss trends in technology applications including overcoming legacy systems, the challenges in converting static signage to digital in very public spaces and the trend moving to direct-view LED.

“Digital signage in an airport environment is a ‘must’ have to provide important flight information to travelers,” said Saleme. “Just as important though is creating a positive customer experience that engages those in the terminal, generates revenue and showcases the community. Large format digital signage provides an exceptional platform on which to execute on these elements.”

While additional events are being confirmed, upcoming webinars in the series, which will focus on digital signage trends in each sector, include:

Jan. 24 – Digital Signage Trends in the Healthcare Sector
Feb. 7 – Digital Signage Trends in the Hospitality Sector
