DSEG Certification or Renewal Credit: 8
Video displays do not perform at their peak straight from a manufacturer. Image optimization is a must and goes far beyond “simply” adjusting various settings. Each display has its own “personality” and responds accordingly. To achieve the “perfect picture,” it is necessary to understand the nuances of each technology and how to address them.
The DSDE provides an understanding of each technology and the key elements that can be adjusted with one another and the environment in which they exist. By adopting calibration methodologies, we can address an infinite number of applications and environments and never settle for a mediocre or inaccurate image.
A color logo should look like the proper logo on screen and people should not look like caricatures. The DSDE is dedicated to image accuracy and displaying images as they were intended.
