Digital Signage Expo® Offers Path to Digital Signage Professional Certification
Digital Signage Expo (DSE®) offers industry professionals a path to certification and re-certification under the auspices of the Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG).
The DSEG is an impartial, agnostic and vendor-neutral organization providing professional industry certifications and recognition for participants at all levels in the digital signage industry. DSEG is served by a board of advisors made up of leading members of the digital signage community, including writers, consultants, trade associations and end users. DSEG Certification programs are embraced and adopted by trade associations and major distributors and manufacturers.
Certification & Renewal Procedures
DSEG certification courses can be taken on-site at the Digital Signage Expo or online at www.digitalsignageexperts.org. Digital Signage Certifications from DSEG include the following:
• Digital Signage Certified Experts (DSCE)
• Digital Signage Display Experts (DSDE)
• Digital Signage Network Experts (DSNE)
• Digital Signage Sales Professional (DSSP)
Attendees seeking to keep Digital Signage Experts Group certifications current can be awarded DSEG renewal credits (DSEG RC) for attending approved Digital Signage Expo seminars. All seminars at the Expo have been approved by DSEG for 1 RC per hour of training.
If you wish to request a certificate of completion for your seminar, please contact the DSEG via email, at renewal@digitalsignageexperts.org. Include your name, company name and name of the DSE seminar session you attended. The DSEG will verify your attendance, and present you with a certificate demonstrating your completion of the seminar and how many RCs you have qualified for.
Digital signage industry professionals who hold the DSCE, DSNE, DSDE and DSSP certifications will need to acquire 15 DSEG-RC credits (i.e., 15 additional hours of education) over three years to renew their certifications. The cost to renew the certification at the end of three years is $50 (free to Digital Signage Federation members).

Toward that end, the Digital Signage Federation, the Digital Signage Expo and numerous manufacturers, distributors, resellers and end users have partnered with the Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG) to bring a comprehensive set of certification programs to the digital signage industry. These courses are designed to bring an individual the education they need, from a fundamental level to in-depth technical training in critical areas of digital signage to professional sales training.
