Tatung Co. of America recently introduced two new digital signage bundles at Digital Signage Expo 2010 that eliminate expensive content fees by providing a user-friendly content creation software application for the end-user.

Depending on the type of options, the end-user has the choice of either buying the Independent or the Enterprise bundle, the company said. Each bundle comes with a 42-inch monitor, media player and end-user content creation software.

The Independent and Enterprise bundles both come with full hardware and software support. Content software provides the latest in digital signage technology, enabling users to create their own content, which can be instantly viewed on the monitor. According to the Long Beach, Calif., company, public and internal information like news, weather or a corporate message can be created in minutes with the end-user content software.

The Enterprise package provides management software that gives users the option to remotely handle and schedule their content. The software also offers SMS texting, wireless cellular data service positioning and the ability to monitor multiple stations through remote access.

Both Independent and Enterprise bundles are suited for hospitality, retail, casinos, malls, healthcare and many more environments, the company said, adding that those bundles provide a perfect vehicle for advertising specific products and promotions.

Tatung also introduced a new 42-inch high-definition digital signage monitor (model ST-HB42A1X), which features 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1200:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits brightness.
